This policy explains how Simpli Web handles information when you use DocDekho.

Your documents

DocDekho opens documents on your device. Simpli Web does not operate an account system or document-storage backend, and the app does not upload the contents of files you open to Simpli Web. Android's system file picker controls which files or folders the app can access.

Information stored on your device

The app may store preferences, recent-file references and generated thumbnails locally so features work. You can remove a recent item inside the app. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes its local app data; the original documents remain where you stored them.

Advertising and consent

DocDekho uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your device, region, consent and settings, Google and its partners may automatically collect or share approximate location derived from an IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or other identifiers such as the advertising ID or app set ID. These may be used for advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance. Data is encrypted in transit.

Where required, the app asks for consent before requesting ads and provides a Privacy choices option when Google requires it. You can also manage advertising controls in Android settings. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.

Accounts, sale and sharing

No account is required. Simpli Web does not sell your documents or personal information. Information described above may be processed by Google and its advertising partners to provide and protect the ad service.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains until you remove it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Google controls retention for information processed through its services; consult Google's policies and controls for details. Because DocDekho has no user accounts or Simpli Web cloud profile, there is no server-side DocDekho account to delete.

Children

DocDekho is intended for a general audience aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. If this positioning changes, Simpli Web will reassess the app, advertising setup and applicable Families requirements before release.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including Android's scoped file access and encrypted network transport. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
