Privacy policy

SSC Setu is an independent exam preparation service. This policy covers the Android app and this website.

Information we use

When you create an account, we store your name, email address, mobile number, a password hash and sign-in sessions. We use these to provide login and account management. Paper problem reports contain the text you choose to submit. We process IP addresses to limit abuse and may retain server security logs for the period specified by our hosting provider.

Saved papers

Downloaded PDFs and bookmarks are saved on your device. When you export or share a PDF, the destination app or person receives that copy and the information you choose to send. Removing your account does not erase copies already exported or shared.

Advertising and consent

Google AdMob provides ads in the app. Depending on your consent choices and region, the Mobile Ads SDK may collect or share IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and advertising identifiers, app interactions and diagnostic data for ads, analytics and fraud prevention. Where required, the app requests consent using Google's User Messaging Platform and offers ad privacy choices in Profile.

Content processing

Administrators may fetch public SSC paper files. Optional AI providers can process public document titles or excerpts to help classify papers. Student names, email addresses and mobile numbers are not sent to those AI providers.

Security and retention

Account passwords are stored as one-way hashes. The app uses HTTPS for the public service. Papers and database files are kept in private server storage. Account deletion removes your profile and active sign-in sessions. Hosting region: REPLACE_WITH_HOSTING_REGION. Backup retention: REPLACE_WITH_BACKUP_RETENTION. Security log retention: REPLACE_WITH_LOG_RETENTION. Backups and logs may persist until these cycles end.

Your choices

You can browse papers as a guest, change advertising privacy choices where offered, and delete your account from the app or the account deletion page. For help, contact help@simpliweb.in.
